The original 1985 release, however, arrived with complications. Enigma wanted additional material included, so the album was packaged with a bonus 12-inch featuring extra tracks, including a song written for the film The Return of the Living Dead, ill-chosen cover songs, and re-recordings of older New Math material. Now, the Sundown on Venus [Definitive Edition] restores the album to what the band originally envisioned it in 1985. Released on CD for the first time with 12 songs newly remastered \u0026amp; re-presented with focus, this \"\"Definitive Edition\"\" brings attention back to the album's dark narrative arc \u0026amp; unusual genre chemistry.
