Die Spitz's Debut Album-Something To Consume & Texas Exclusive Vinyl

When the Venn diagram of passion, friendship, identity, and artistry collide, it creates the fierce, unshakable energy of Die Spitz. The Austin quartet—Ava Schrobilgen, Chloe De St. Aubin, Ellie Livingston, and Kate Halter—aren’t just making music; they’re igniting a movement. On their debut album, Something to Consume (out Sept. 12 via Third Man Records), the band thrashes against the inescapable forces of politics, addiction, love, and the ways we’re all consumed, channeling rebellion into unity. As Livingston explains, “There’s a political side to it, but addiction and love can also be all-consuming.” Each track is a concussive burst of energy, woven together by instrument-swapping, shared songwriting, and their profound bond as lifelong friends.

That bond is what gives Something to Consume its unique spark. All four are Austin natives who grew up together—first as kids, then as bandmates after a late-night viewing of The Dirt inspired them to pick up instruments and give rock their all. In just a few short years, they’ve gone from jamming for fun to creating one of the most anticipated debut albums of the year, blending raw energy with a maturity that belies their age.

And for Texas fans, the excitement goes even deeper—Curious Collections is proud to carry the exclusive Texas vinyl variant of Something to Consume. The exclusive comes in Maroon/Purple Splatter Colored LP & Opaque Purple 7 inch and we will have these available for purchase on release day.
