The long-awaited first 7inch release of "Hyena / Kusatta tamago" by Brain Police, a leading band in the early days of the Japanese hard/heavy rock scene, of which PANTA, who passed away suddenly in 2023, was a member!"Hyena" is a funky rock song with a black feeling that was included in the fifth original album of Brain Police, "Sue the Hero of the Masquerade' released in 1973. The drum break at the beginning of the song is a source of agony for DJs!The coupling "Kusatta tamago", the first analog recording, was cut from "Brain Police 7", a one-year limited reunion in 1990, and is composed only of PANTA's vocals and Toshi's percussion and drums, with harsh lyrics and a primitive, dopey sound. The album was supervised by FLATT THE LAIDBACK (EXHUME EXHUME PRODUCTION) and remastered by 8ronix (Bullpen lab. ), and was remastered in high sound quality with an emphasis on the "sound" of the DJ play.
