A valuable dialogue between global avant-garde icon Keiji Haino and DJ/electronic instrument player Jun Morita, two musicians who have been pondering the origins and harmony of the world.A collaborative work between legendary performer Keiji Haino and DJ/electronic instrument player Jun Morita has been released by the Kamakura-based avant-garde music label 'Les disques d'Ailleurs.' While Haino has pursued the origins of music for over half a century, creating 'moments of musical birth' through improvisation with a variety of instruments, Morita explores uncharted sounds through electronics. Recorded in 2018 and reassembled in 2024, the album's opening track features Morita's Central Asian/Middle Eastern-inspired sounds layered with Haino's improvised vocals. The remaining five tracks feature Haino's solo performances (voice, guitar, harmonium, polygonola) enhanced by Morita's additions of synths and electric violin.
