Muse has never been a band to do things by halves. To announce their highly anticipated 10th studio album, The Wow! Signal, the English rock titans literally launched a tablet 33 kilometers into the Earth's atmosphere to premiere their lead music video from space.
The album's title is inspired by the famous 72-second radio frequency detected in 1977 that suggested the possibility of alien life. Matt Bellamy describes the new record as an exploration of cosmic mystery and existential hope.

🛸 30 Years of Muse: From Teignmouth to the Cosmos
For over three decades, the core trio of Matt Bellamy (vocals, guitar, keys), Chris Wolstenholme (bass), and Dominic Howard (drums) have been redefining the boundaries of alternative rock.
Formed in Devon, England in 1994, Muse initially turned heads in the late '90s with their moody debut Showbiz and the fierce classical-meets-grunge riffs of Origin of Symmetry. But it was 2003’s Absolution and 2006’s Black Holes and Revelations that rocketed them into stadium-sized stardom. Anthems like "Knights of Cydonia" and "Supermassive Black Hole" cemented their signature sound: a maximalist fusion of apocalyptic sci-fi themes, heavy guitar riffs, and soaring operatic vocals.
Now, following 2022's Will of the People, Muse returns to their sci-fi roots with The Wow! Signal. Featuring massive tracks like "Be With You" and the futuristic disco-rock of "Nightshift Superstar," it promises to be their most cinematic record yet.
