Coolio - Gangster’s Paradise (25th Anniversary Edition)
Talk about a blast from the past! It’s hard to believe Gangster’s paradise is 25 years old. Actually, it’s just hard to believe I’m 25 years older than I was when it came out. This album was massive in 1995. Absolutely massive. This anniversary edition is remastered, pressed on 180g double red vinyl and features previously unreleased bonus material
Fleetwood Mac - The Alternate Rumours
The “Alternate” series has been one of the most consistently interesting RSD releases over the last few years. The basic premise is to take a popular album, go through the unreleased demos from that album, pick a different version for each track on the LP and put it out. For me, it’s interesting to see the development of an album through the demo and recording process. Some song are in a vastly different format than the final product we all know and love. As popular as Rumours is, it will be a treat to hear it in its infancy.
Paul McCartney - McCartney
Originally released in April 1970, one month before the final Beatles LP, Let It Be, Paul McCartney’s debut solo LP found Paul playing all of the instruments and writing all of the songs for the first time. The 50th anniversary Record Store Day limited edition of McCartney was pressed from a master cut by Miles Showell at half speed using the original 1970 master tapes at Abbey Road Studios. If you’re into McCartney and The Beatles, this will be one to pick up.
Primus - Suck On This
The 1989 debut Live LP from Primus, Suck On This, is coming out on RSD Drop #2. Remastered, on translucent vinyl and with a 3D cover, this is a must have for fans. Multiple songs from their Debut LP, Frizzle Fry, are on here and there’s even a version of Tommy The Cat, later released on Sailing the Seas of Cheese, that makes a somewhat different appearance here.
The Doors - Soft Parade Stripped
Soft Parade is the odd man out in the discography of The Doors. With horns and strings, it's the most commercial thing the band ever produced and has been somewhat derided over the years. This RSD version strips the horns and strings away from 4 tracks on the LP and then adds a new guitar overdub from Robby Kreiger to 4 additional tracks. It certainly different from the original and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Limited to 2000 copies, this 9LP box set features Biggie's four albums--Ready to Die (2LP), Born Again (3LP), Life After Death (2LP), & Junior Mafia’s Conspiracy (2LP)--bundled together for the first time, pressed on clear vinyl and housed in a boxed set. This one will go incredibly fast.
The original It’s Alive is viewed as one of the greatest live albums of all time and for good reason. Peak Ramones blasting their way through their set on NYE 1977 in the UK. Well, It's Alive II is from two days prior, Live at Victoria Hall, Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire, Dec, 29, 1977. I can’t get enough of the RSD live Ramones albums, so this is high up on my must have list.
Nativity In Black; A Tribute to Black Sabbath
White Zombie, Megadeth, Sepultura, Corrosion of Conformity, Faith No More & Type O Negative doing Black Sabbath covers? Enough Said. I’m all in for this AMAZING LP.
Hunny is a band from Newbury Park, CA who first made a name for themselves in early 2015 after releasing their debut single "Cry for Me". They have since released 3 Eps, including 2018's "Windows II." Tastemakers and fans alike found the Southern California group to be a perfect mix of post-punk tinged pop and their childhood influences like Prince and The Cure. The result is a sound that feels uniquely them. With a few more years and more material under their belt, Hunny has gained fans across the globe by touring with the likes of The Neighbourhood, Beach Slang, The Frights and more. This is just the start of a long and promising career for Hunny. Hunny is front man Jason Yarger, guitarist Jake Goldstein, bassist/keyboardist Kevin Grimmett, and drummer Joey Anderson.
