Cheap Trick - Out to Get You Live 1977
In June of 1977, while recording follow-up In Color, the group booked a handful of club shows at The Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles, where they blew the crowds away with current favorites and songs that wouldn’t appear on albums for years. I love the first 6 Cheap Trick albums and personally feel that they are one of the greatest American bands of all time, so any chance to get live material from their peak years.

Alice Cooper - Live from the Apollo Theatre Glasgow Feb 19.1982
The last two RSD live albums from Alice Cooper have been phenomenal and both were recorded in Texas, but this one heads across the Atlantic to Glasgow for a recording from his Special Forces tour. The setlist is fantastic, so this will be a must have for me. It’s hard to pass up on any old school Alice Cooper release.

Grateful Dead - Buffalo 5/9/77
The Grateful Dead is another band that has turned RSD into a live album cottage industry for them, kind of like their fans have done for 50 years with their bootleg tapes. Hey, when your legend is based around your live shows and there’s money to be made, it’s easy to see why they do it. This 5 LP set has an etching on side 10.

Judas Priest - Sad Wings of Destiny
Released in 1976, this is the album where Judas Priest morphed their sound into the Priest we all know and love. Adding a heavier edge and dropping the blues rock feel, Priest would soon don the leather and have us all banging our heads.

Skid Row - Slave To The Grind (Expanded Edition)
Sure, you probably know them from “I Remember You”, “18 & LIfe”, or “Youth Gone Wild”, but if that’s where your knowledge of Skid Row begins and ends, then you’re missing out on one of the best metal records of the 1980’s. Skid Row threw away the hair metal feel and turned back into the heavy band they always were with Slave To The Grind. Gigantic riffs, piercing wails and some ridiculously good songs, this is the 80’s metal album you’ve always wanted, even if you didn’t know it yet. Run Out Groove expands it to a 2LP set by including four bonus tracks making their debut on wax. Presented in a deluxe tip-on style gatefold jacket, with insert.
