Heartbreakers - The LAMF Demo Sessions - Proving you can never have too many Heartbreakers albums , The LAMF Demo Sessions found The Heartbreakers (Johnny Thunders, Walter Lure, Billy Rath and Jerry Nolan) with four studio demo sessions from 1976 and 1977, compiled onto one album for the first time. Two sessions were recorded in 1976 in New York, including four tracks in their early incarnation with Richard Hell and later six tracks after Billy Rath had joined on bass. In London in 1977, they recorded one session just prior to signing with Track Records, and another after L.A.M.F. had been released, with The Clash’s Terry Chimes on drums replacing the newly departed Jerry Nolan.

Madness - Baggy Trousers EP - Originally released in 1980, this EP sees “Baggy Trousers” get its first outing as a 12”, with five additional tracks. Cover art is the iconic Humphrey Ocean cover illustration that graced the original 7” single in 1980. I’m a huge ska and madness fan, so I can’t wait for this one.

World Party - Seaview Records Presents: World Party - Curated By RSD - I’m a big fan of Karl Wallinger and his band vehicle, World Party, so it’s nice to see him get a bit of recognition for RSD this year. What better way to celebrate Record Store Day's 15th Anniversary, and the first time that RSD's Ambassador is global, than to release a completely unique World Party album. Curated by none other than record store owner Paul Epstein, from Twist & Shout, and featuring the best of World Party, including several rare versions of tracks, none of which have ever been on vinyl.
