What albums will Curious Collections have the morning of RSD?
- Once the list is announced, we will offer a wish list (Google form) for our customers to fill out, to let us know what albums you intend on buying on Record Store Day.
- When our store list is available, you will be able to view the list of albums on our website.
How do I reserve copies of a record or pre-pay for them?
- It is against Record Store Day policies for any store to offer live auctions, pre-sales or pre-orders or holds on any RSD albums being released on Record Store Day. If you suspect a store is soliciting or taking pre-orders on RSD albums, you can report them directly to Record Store Day, using this email address information@recordstoreday.com Please include pictures and any information you have about the store.
How do I request certain records to be in-store at Curious Collections for RSD?
- Our wish list will be available to fill out once the list is announced.
- Submitting a wish list with Curious Collections in NO WAY reserves or holds the items for you! (It helps us decide what to order)
- When you submit a wish list with us, we base our ordering on what you are requesting. If you intend to buy the albums, let us know, we will try our very best to get them in our store for you to purchase from us on Record Store Day. If you do not fill out a wish list with us, there is a chance we may not carry what you are wanting (as we do not buy all the albums on the list) only the ones our customers are requesting.
- But if there is something you are wanting that we did not order, please reach out to us asap and we will try our best to get that title in store for Record Store Day. Many of the RSD albums are still available for us to order, even after RSD. So, if you don't see what you want in the store on Record Store Day, ask one of our Curious Staff and we can see if it's available to order (before you go online and pay ridiculous prices for them).

Who is the Record Store Day Ambassador this year?
"Independent record stores are so important because you get the chance to immerse and surround yourself with music and that's why I'm so excited to be this year's Record Store Day Ambassador. I love collecting vinyl because nothing is better than sitting on your couch putting on a record and just listening to music like that. It feels like a lost art. Will Curious Collections have phone appointments this year?
- We will not have any scheduled phone appointments this year. If you would like to purchase Record Store Day albums over the phone, you can call us Sunday, after Record Store Day, to buy any remaining RSD albums over the phone at 979-704-3059. No holds or Pre-orders on RSD albums.
- Our Doors will open at 10 AM on Sunday, for phone orders and in-store shopping.
When will the RSD albums be available for purchase online from Curious Collections?
- Sunday, after Record Store Day, around Noon Central time
- All online albums will say "Out of Stock" until we release the remaining albums for online purchase on Sunday around Noon.
- Watch our social media and your emails to see what albums are sold out and what we still have plenty of.
What is the purchase limit per customer at Curious Collections?
- 1 album each per customer/household! Max of 10 albums per customer.
- No pre-orders, holds or pre-sales on RSD albums.
How many of each album will Curious Collections have to sell?
- For security reasons, we do not disclose the number of pieces we are getting of any of our albums.
- I wouldn't wait and stroll in Saturday afternoon expecting to get a copy of the things you want, especially the highly anticipated albums.
- So, get here early, don't wait, you might miss out. Quantities are limited to 1 per household and 10 total.
When will doors open at Curious Collections on RSD for in-store shopping?
- Doors will open at 7AM on Saturday, for Record Store Day
- Camping out is permitted. And we will have a porta potty available.
- There will be "pay what you want" snacks and drinks and games available to pass the time.

We want to make it the best experience we possibly can. We plan to have food and drinks available on a "pay what you want" basis.
How soon can I come to wait in line at Curious Collections?
- We want to encourage customers to come shop in-store on Record Store Day, and we realize there may be a line to get in. Get here early for first dibs on titles since there are NO holds or pre-sales for anyone on RSD.
- We will have a porta potty, water, games, puzzles and even snacks available for those who decide to get here early.
What can I expect when the line starts moving at 7AM on Saturday?
- Sign up for our emails and text, so you don't miss out on important RSD information.
- We will notify the line, throughout the day, if we run out of something, so you don't continue to wait only to find out we are already sold out.

We will update everyone on our socials as the day progresses, including an alert if and when our stock runs low enough where it looks like we’re on the verge of a sellout and you’ll be able to find updates on all of those platforms.
One last thing: Curious Collections reserves the right to ask anyone to leave our premises at any time for any reason. In the event of disorderly conduct, we also reserve the right to call in officer reinforcements if needed.
