Treat yourself to these freshly restocked vinyl records to end the first month of the new year! The month may be over but these albums are sure to be a long lasting hit in your collection.

Jimi Hendrix * Electric Ladyland [2010 180g Vinyl Record]

Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland [2010 180g Vinyl] (Click to Buy) - The third album by Jimi Hendirx is also my favorite Hendrix LP. A double album, Electric Ladyland had Jimi pulling out all the stops and delivering a psychedelic rock masterpiece. Jimi proved he could be as soulful as any R&B singer and also still chop down a mountain with the edge of his hand. If you don’t believe me, check out Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) and see for yourself.

Jimi Hendrix *Experience Hendrix: The Best Of Jimi Hendrix 2017 [2LP Numbered Vinyl Vinyl Record]

Jimi Hendrix - Experience Hendrix: The Best of Jimi Hendrix (Click to Buy)  - There are a lot of Jimi Best of’s out there floating around, but this is the one that’s the real deal and licensed by his estate. This 20 track best of covers his entire career and quite a few posthumous tracks that are essential Hendrix songs. From the beginnings of Purple Haze to Freedom from The Cry of Love, this compilation has it all. If you’re just getting into Jimi, this is a perfect start. If you’re already a huge fan, this is a great compilation to throw on and enjoy.

Creedence Clearwater Revival * Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits 2009

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits (Click to Buy) - If ever a band was a master of the compilation LP, it was CCR. Every track on here is a bonafide hit single. Bad Moon Rising, Fortunate Son, Lodi…the list goes on and on. CCR sounded like it crawled out of some swamp on the fringes of rock & roll and I say that as a great compliment. John Fogerty created a sound thats still imitated today and this album shows you exactly why.

Grease * The Original Movie Soundtrack [40th anniversary Vinyl Record 2x LP UK Import]

Grease - Motion Picture Soundtrack [40th Anniversary Vinyl Record] (Click to Buy) - You’ve watched the movie a bajillion times and have heard every song on here for most of your life, so why not grab the Soundtrack to one of the biggest musical theater crossovers of all time, Grease. A tale of lovers from different sides of the tracks, Grease captures the essence of the 1950’s as well as any movie or TV ever has. It’s a fun album and one that demands you sing along with every song. Grab it, you know you want to.

Mumford & Sons * Sigh No More
Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More (Click to Buy) - The album that pushed banjo’s and folk music back to the top of the charts, Sigh No More was a smash when it was released. With the voice of Marcus Mumford and songs like “Little Lion Man” & “The Cave”, it’s easy to see why this was such a massive success. They’ve moved further and further away from the sound of this album, but it’s still my favorite and to me, the best thing they’ve ever done.
