Manchester-based producer Mecca:83 unveils his long-awaited new album 'Until Dawn' on vinyl. Blending his roots in jazz, soul, and golden-era boom bap with a modern sonic texture, the 12-track project offers a dramatic and deeply immersive hip-hop journey. The lead single 'Don't Stop' features Detroit legends Phat Kat and Guilty Simpson, delivering powerful verses, while UK turntablist Jabba Tha Kut adds razor-sharp scratches that intensify the track's energy. The boom bap style evokes the golden age of the '90s, showcasing Mecca:83's foundational sound. Other standout tracks include:'Elevation' a futuristic jazz-hip-hop fusion featuring jazz keyboardist Jonny Tobin. 'Proof of Life' with poetic lyricist Nardo Says from New York. 'Sober' a mellow soul piece featuring the delicate vocals of Ella Mae Sueref and trumpet by Donald Malloy. 'Midnight Run' featuring Lex (de Kalhex), known from the French group Kalhex.
