One year ago, something really special happened inside our walls.
The space that once held our Listening Room — where we gathered to spin records, host intimate events, and share music together — began a new chapter. Coyote Moon Coffee officially joined the Curious Collections family, bringing the rich aroma of fresh coffee and a whole new layer of community into our record store.
Today, we’re celebrating their first birthday with so much gratitude.
From day one, Coyote Moon Coffee felt like a natural fit. Vinyl and coffee just belong together. There’s something magical about flipping through crates with a warm cup in hand, about conversations that start over a warm drink and end with a new favorite record. What used to be a room filled with speakers and turntables is now filled with the hum of grinders, laughter, and the kind of connection that only happens when small businesses come together with heart.
Over the past year, we’ve watched friendships form at the coffee bar, first dates unfold between stacks of LPs, study sessions turn into record discoveries, and regulars create their own weekly rituals. Coyote Moon hasn’t just operated inside our space — they’ve become part of our story.
As a small, independent business, we believe deeply in supporting other small businesses. Watching Coyote Moon grow, build loyal customers, and become a staple in the Bryan/College Station community has been such a gift. Their presence has made Curious Collections warmer, busier, and even more alive.
To everyone who has grabbed a drink before digging through new arrivals, who has met friends for coffee and left with vinyl, who has supported both of our businesses this past year — thank you. You make this collaboration meaningful.
