Alison Brown & Steve Martin's first full-length album, Safe, Sensible and Sane, is an all-original collection of songs and tunes inspired by the duo's shared love of the 5-string banjo. The 12 tracks on the album include forays into folk, Americana, and Latin grooves, with plenty of bluegrass thrown in for good measure. Featured vocalists include Jackson Browne, Jason Mraz, Vince Gill, Indigo Girls, Aoife O'Donovan, Tim O'Brien, and bluegrass award winners Della Mae.
