Proto jackin' hip-house/punk-funk from the third coast. Originally issued in 1984 on Chicago's scene-defining Mitchbal label, Z-Factor's Dance Party Album is where boyhood friends Jesse Saunders and Vince Lawrence reinvented the 909 for the Warehouse, WBMX, and beyond. Come for the spaced-out, lo-fi Italo synths, stay for the micro-budget four-on-the-floor drum machinenrattles.

Tracklist:

  1. I Am The DJ ft. Jesse Saunders
  2. Fantasy (Vocal) ft. Jesse Saunders
  3. Thorns
  4. Fantasy (Instrumental)
  5. Fast Cars ft. Vincent Lawrence
  6. My Ride
  7. Her Way
