Coldplay - Music of the Spheres [Buy Now]

The band's ninth LP, produced by Max Martin, features twelve tracks, five of which are represented by emojis. I’m not sure of the direction Coldplay is taking with this album, but it’s sure to sell a few copies.

The Beatles - Let It Be Super Deluxe Edition [Buy Now]

Newly mixed by Giles Martin and Sam Okell in stereo, 5.1 surround DTS, and Dolby Atmos. The new stereo mix of the album was guided by the original "reproduced for disc" version by Phil Spector. The Super Deluxe Edition includes 27 unreleased session recordings, a 4-track Let It Be EP, the 1969 unreleased 14-track "Get Back" stereo mix by Glyn Johns, and a 100-page hardback book with an intro by Paul McCartney, track-by-track recording information, and many unseen photos, notes, and more. This 5 LP set follows in the footsteps of the fantastic Giles Martin mixes of The White Album, Sgt. Peppers and Abbey Road.

David Crosby - If I Could Only Remember My Name 50th Anniversary Press [Buy Now]

The album that launched a hundred memes on dude driven internet music groups, the debut solo album from David Crosby gets a 50th Anniversary pressing this week. Featuring a number of guest musicians, including Graham Nash, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and members of Jefferson Airplane, Santana, and the Grateful Dead, this is one to pick up for fans of CSNY.

Seether - Vicennial: 2 Decades of Seether [Pre-Order Now]

A career-spanning compilation of the RIAA Platinum-selling group's greatest hits, including 16 #1 original singles, as well as the fan-favorite cover of "Careless Whisper." The track list, curated by the band, takes you through their impactful 20-year career - from their early breakthrough singles "Broken" and "Fine Again" to their recent radio success "Dangerous." Gatefold Jacket 2 LP.

Pokey LaFarge - In The Blossoms of the Shade [Buy Now]

One of my favorite artists of the last decade or so, Pokey mines the lost sounds of the 30’s through the 50’s. From the hardpan country of the 30’s to the easy rock & roll of the early 50’s, he’s a master craftsman who makes those sounds his own, while also making them feel new. His newest LP seems to fall more towards the 50’s rock & roll sounds, but could venture off into any direction from song to song.
