This October, Curious Collections turns 10 years old.
Ten years of flipping through bins.
Ten years of late-night album drops.
Ten years of Record Store Days, listening parties, in-store events, and conversations that started over a shared love of music.
What began as a dream has grown into something so much bigger than a record store. Curious Collections has become a meeting place. A safe space. A first-job memory. A first-vinyl purchase. A spot where friendships were formed and soundtracks to people’s lives were discovered.
And none of it would have happened without you.
Over the past decade, we’ve watched kids grow up and start their own collections. We’ve seen couples meet in our aisles and families make Saturday visits a tradition. We’ve celebrated album releases, supported local artists, and stood together to keep independent music culture alive in our community.
Ten years as an indie record store is something we don’t take lightly. In a world where convenience often wins, you chose to shop small. You chose to walk through our doors. You chose to support local. That means everything.
We Want to Hear From You 💛
As we prepare to celebrate this milestone, we want to include the people who made it possible.
We’re asking our customers to share their favorite memories of Curious Collections. Maybe it was:
-
The first record you ever bought from us
-
A Record Store Day you’ll never forget
-
A listening party that hit different
-
A special conversation with a staff member
-
A moment that made our store feel like home
If Curious Collections has been part of your story, we would be honored to hear it.

Thank You for 10 Incredible Years!
From day one to year ten, this store has been built on passion, resilience, and community support. Every record purchased, every event attended, every post shared — it all helped us reach this milestone.
Here’s to 10 years of vinyl, connection, and keeping indie record stores alive.
And here’s to many more.
With gratitude,
Mary & the Curious Collections Family
