(Behold the tree!) is written for the soprano Alexandra Buchel and the musicians Ivo Nilsson, Helene Sikdal, Johannes Thorell, and Tora Thorslund. Right now, in Sweden, woodlands are rapidly beingdeforested and replaced by timber farms. Alongside climate change, the forest industry poses the biggest threatto biodiversity in this country.
