Johnny Cash * Hello I'm Johnny Cash (Blue) [Colored Vinyl] (Gate) LP [Limited Edition]

Originally released in 1970, Hello, I'm Johnny Cash is one of Johnny Cash's most acclaimed studio albums. Combining original compositions with carefully chosen cover versions, the album captures the stripped-back sound of Cash and the Tennessee Three at the height of their powers. Featuring the Grammy-winning duet If I Were a Carpenter with June Carter Cash, alongside Blistered, See Ruby Fall (co-written with Roy Orbison), and To Beat The Devil, the album highlights Cash's distinctive storytelling and commanding vocal delivery. The minimalist accompaniment of the Tennessee Three provides the perfect backdrop throughout. A commercial and critical success, Hello, I'm Johnny Cash reached No. 1 on the US Country Albums chart and No. 6 on the Billboard 200, later earning Gold certification. This edition is pressed on 180g audiophile blue coloured vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve, and is limited to 2,000 copies.
