Peter Lehel * Giant Impressions CD

With Giant Impressions, the Finefones Saxophone Quartet pays tribute to the musical legacy of John Coltrane on the 100th anniversary of his birth. The ensemble showcases the full range of sounds from the saxophone family in an extraordinary quartet formation without a rhythm section, creating a striking interplay of groove, sonic texture, and improvisational freedom. Peter Lehel's arrangements and compositions blend jazz tradition with a distinctive musical style, giving the quartet an unmistakable group sound. A multifaceted tribute to one of the most significant jazz musicians of the 20th century, featuring harmonious timbres and rhythmic precision!
